Israel Shares AI-Based Technology, High-End Equipment With AIIMS To Help Combat COVID-19

For fighting the current COVID-19 pandemic, Israel gives state-of-the-art artificial intelligence-based technologies and high-end equipment to AIIMS. It’s a part of Israel-India cooperation.
Dr. Ron Malka, Israeli Ambassador in a formal meeting, handed over the high-end equipment and technology solutions to the Director AIIMS – Dr. Randeep Guleria. The Secretary of Ministry Affairs – Sanjay Bhattacharya was present as the Chief Guest of the event, which took place yesterday.
The handing over includes a 12-hour disinfection product – CPD, which stays active for protecting the surface against possible attacks of contamination, and a non-invasive remote patient monitoring systems will aid as a preliminary screening tool of respiratory indicator of suspected COVID-19 patients, recovering patients, and AI-based software for ultrasound use, which is designed specifically for combating COVID-19.
Dr. Guleria said that India-Israel coordination is stronger. In the previous days, India helped Israel with medicines and safety gear, now Israel has sent equipment, which includes robotic teleconsultation and telemonitoring equipment.
